Glad you liked it. This is such a good topic with fall and winter approaching. It is so good to come home and not have to worry about what's for dinner. Plus more time to quilt. Yeah!

Layer sliced ham, potatoes, onion, and grated cheese til you have enough for your family or fill the pot. Put a can or two of mushroom soup over the top and spread it like frosting. Don't add liquid. Turn it on and let it go for several hours. Great for pot lucks.

3, 4 or 5 pound roast
1 packet dry italian dressing
1 packet dry ranch dressing
1 packet dry gravy
1/2 cup water

Put roast in and mix all dry ingredients and poor over then add water. Cook low or high until meat is tender. (4-6 hours). YUM!!! I make this at least 2 times a month in the fall and winter.

cathome....I also do this with a chicken. If I have a few extra minutes, I will toss in potato chunks and some carrot and onion. Everything is ready to put on the table when we get home. Yum!!

I am off to collect DH from hospital today. No idea what time we will get home. (Hospital is in another town.) This will be a crock pot day....

bottom of pot..layer spuds, onion, carrot.
pork tenderloin next.
large chunks of zucchini.
pour can of mushroom soup over all.
seasoning.....minced garlic, parsley, Italian seasoning, soy sauce.

A quick salad when we get home, and supper is on the table.

Wow some really good recipes here. Thanks for the post.
I have a simple one.
I go to Winco Grocery Store and they have bins of everything you could think of from candy to dog treats. I get Ravioli's and
put those in the crock pot with Spagetti Sause. Then I just ad whatever I can find like Green Peppers, Onions, and Garlic.
I also ad enough water that it doesn't dry out. Last time I made it I added a can of Cheddar Cheese (like soup can)
and it turned out yummy.

I made this last night for our dinner. It was absolutely delicious. Cooked it in the crock pot all day - I used Ragu Robusto spaghetti sauce- Thanks so much for this recipe - it is an absolute keeper. I put the sausage on a hogey bun, added some onion and green pepper, put about three spoons of sauce on top and then gave us a little bowl of sauce on the side. As a matter of fact, I told #1 OAO (one and only) that if we have Christmas Eve at our home, this would be a fantastic supper. Actually, if we go out, it would be a fantastic dish to bring along! My husband raved about it all evening. The only credit I could take was the Ragu Sauce. The rest of the credit belongs to you and I always believe - Give credit where credit is due. And you got it, Lady! Thanks again! Edie
