You can iron freezer paper on the back and tear it off when finished.

A couple of you have asked where I got the pattern and here it is :D

Since this is my first quilt and I have not taking any quilting classes (yet) I am going to buy a quarter in foot this week. I'm so excited to started sewing these squares together but I am worried about making some kind of serious mistake.

You can always fix a mistake, that's why they invented seam rippers :) So just have fun!
