Hey Karla, i'm going to do something i never ever do, and post without reading all the pages, so i apoligize for that, but i just love your blocks sooooo much. I don't know if this idea has been said yet, or if you've made a decision, cus my bad for not reading everything, but what if you leave the blocks how they are, and add one more strip to the outsides, of the light gold colour? But whatever you decide, it will be gorgeous :)

I love the quilting squares just the way they are, and they make me think of fall. If you don't want them, you can send them to me.Ha Ha!!!!! LOL LOL!!!!!

Very interesting. If you look at your blocks through green and red light filters you will see the values very differently. I noticed the pattern had a dark border and light center. I think if you were to arrange the colors differently, it might give the feeling of the pattern. For example using a green filter, the darkest value is in the second from the outside and there is no difference between the second and the third. You might find the 3 in 1 color tool from Joen Wolfrom valuable.

Whatever you call it, it's beautiful! I think it's very "fall-ish."

I love the colors. Don't be too quick to judge, it may surprise you when it's all completed.

Okay I've gone back and looked at it again, at least eleventy-twelve times and I still love it. Perhaps because I knew you were going for a fall look, but when I step back to look it brings to mind one of those amazing early fall days we sometimes get here in Ohio. You are walking down the trail amongst trees of literally every color, including all the ones still green, and up ahead through a hole in the trees a bolt of clear golden sunshine comes through and lights up one small spot. Yep there is a god and he does make miracles.

Well--if THAT doesn't lead me to believe it's just fine--that I did indeed reach my goal--nothing will!!

THANKS!! :-D
