Clean kitchen and bathrooms are a must here too. Don't want any fungus or salmonella around!

YEA!! and keep putting off will not get it done. I try to do my housework before I do anything else, especially getting on the computer! so many things to distract me! Quilting, sewing, crocheting, learning to create a web page, updating keyboarding skills, doing genealogy, and none of it is all that important. h lets not forget studying Gods word! now thats important! heheheh, yeah I let things get in the way to do my house work!

I'm with you, I like to have a clean and tidy house, more or less. You know-- clean enough to be healthy and dirty enough to be happy. Then I can quilt.

I have gotten to the point of not inviting company so I don't have to clean. It interrupts everything I want to do! I do have minimal standards and then a few times a year I get crazy and clean everything.

I agree with Amma...quilting is much more important, especially since I still work full time.

Dusting--a Holiday Tradition!

If it's not so bad that nobody else will pitch in to help...it's not so bad...

I do not understand why we women have extra quilty genes? I always kept my house tidy and super clean while I had my children, but the last few years I have just hated cleaning house and doing dishes and most of all cooking. I feel now it is my time to do all the things I have wanted to do all these years but didn't have the time. My DH doesn't mind and he will help out if it bothers him. But, my sewing room is so beautiful and neat I could live in there, the rest of the house can wait until that dirty guilty gene kicks in.
