In my local store they have gone from 1.49 to 1.99 for the blades. Guess they knew If ladies wanted them for hobby they would be willing to pay more.

They are great! The price is great. It goes to show that you can substite one itme for another and get the same result. It also proves the mark up on some things. I am so thankful to the members of this board for bringing this produt to everyones attention.

This deal sounds almost too good to be true. Has anyone noticed any damage to your cutting mat?

I saw that others were using the carpet blades from Harbor Freight and had my husband stop by and pick up some for me. I think they work much better than the $3 and $4 blades. For the price you can change them more often. Watch your fingers when you first use one they are VERY sharp! :)

The price is now $1.99 a pkg & the shipping is $6.99 plus tax. Also backoredered I think I will just get my Dh to pickup some when he goes to Longview again. That is the only store close to me. (90 miles)
