What kind of bulbs does Ott use? The last incandescent light bulb factory in the US closed about two weeks ago. By 2012 all incandescent bulbs will not be sold in US. They just did that in Europe. People were buying as many incandescent bulbs as they could afford.

Ott lights. I bought the first one on sale from Nancy's Notions. The bulb burned out very soon after I bought it. I called and they sent a new bulb, no problem, and they didn't ask me to return the bad bulb. I've bought 2 more Ott lights when JoAnn's had 50% off sales. You can tell, I LOVE Ott lights!

I have two 4' double-fluorescent fixtures hanging over my sewing tables, as well as the regular ceiling light. My fabric is in cabinets that have doors on them, so it's not exposed to light.
I'm up all night due to DH's work schedule, so I need lots of light. My sewing room is just 9' square, so the two fluorescent lights are enough. The walls are a very light gold color, and the fabric cabinets are off-white, which make the room seem brighter. :)
