They both look great, but I like the white better. In my humble opinion it definately needs one of them. Without the geese seem to be lost in the fabric.

the white breaks up all the darker colors

I like it best with the white. Makes more contrast and makes the geese really pop!

I think you should use both the white and the green.... alternating them. Great looking quilt!

I think you need something there and would vote for the white if it were me. I think the green would compete badly with all the pretty greens in the strips... JMHO...
