I like it. If your MIL doesn't like it you can donate it to me. LOL

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and she may think it is the most beautiful quilt ever when she receives it.

Sometimes I don't like a quilt but, I just keep going and by the time its finished I have gotten use to it and I end up liking it. You may be surprised by the time you are finished.

That is going to be one great quilt. Use the green and/or the white as your borders and it should be awesome.
I'm working on a Warm Wishes right now, too. Somehow I felt that I didn't have enough contrast, but when I put in the borders it looks fine.

I was always planning to bind it in the white. I don't know if I'll have enough of the green fabric to do a border, as I didn't intend to do one or buy fabric to accommodate it, but now that I'm getting more into it, I think it does need a border. I might have enough to do a narrow-ish border. I don't really want to add too much to the size of this quilt (it's supposed to be a lap quilt, and its already oversized!), so I wouldn't go any wider than the width of one of my strips. Guess I have to crack out the calculator again...LOL

Frame it with the green fabric and see if you like it better?

deema... Keep at it and you will be surprised at how lovely it becomes. I promise!
The Warm Wishes pattern can only be appreciated when finished. It has great depth and a secondary design and with the colors you've chosen will be stunning. You won't want to give it away! :-D :-D
