Welcome from the woods of southern Washington state. My children are grown and we are now retired. I love living in the woods. Always wanted to go to Maine. But you have long winters there, we have a lot of rain. Both are good excuses to be in your sewing room. Welcome.

I have a question for people. I used chalk to mark my quilting stencil and am wondering how to get rid of the lines from the chalk. When I use a marker, I just wet it and it goes away. Will the chalk fade or do I have to do something to get rid of theose lines? Thanks for any help that is offered.

I live in Plymouth now, it's just past Newport. I love the DEW Animal Kingdom in Mt. Vernon, I went many years ago in high school, then a few years ago with my children. Mt. Vernon is a very pretty place!!
