Amen! Some I buy, some I download off the net. If I did a new pattern every day, I don't think I could finish them all in my lifetime!

I have two shelves of quilt magazines, books and printed out patterns. Some I use some I just get ideas from. I even have a baby quilt, Simplicity pattern by Eleanor Burns. I have actually made three from this pattern. It's really easy.

Not only do I have way too many patterns, but they seem to be in categories--table pieces, and kitchen decorative towels are my particular weaknesses. And, many of them do come from quilt shows!! Perhaps I can kit them and give them as gifts for birthdays? piecefully, the old one

I use more ink on my printer coping patterns that I will never use if I live to be 150 !!!!!!!!

I took a lot of them to my last two quilting meetings and shared them with whomever wanted them.....Cleaning out the sewing room so that I can fit the stash !!!!!!!!!

I collect books. Hundreds of pattern books. I do use them though mostly for inspiration!

Bought one pattern and still haven't used it. If I see something I like I try to find it here or somewhere on the computer, print out a pattern or a picture, and go from there.

That is why i always take my friend with me. She is great at saying"Now Beth are you really going to make that quilt " or "you just bought something just like that yesterday" It works most of the time

My hand raised as in guilty of this lately. It take me so long to finish one quilt I highly doubt I'll get to all of them but I'm going to give it a try anyway.
