Craftybear!!! :-P :-P :-P

At least say it in "months" rather than "days" so that it sounds further away! ;)

I've made a good start, but still have a looooong way to go.

I bought the material to make lap quilts and pillow cases for gifts! Does that count? If wanting and wishing would count I would be in great shape! However, all said and done so far, 1 lap quilt done for Christmas!

I usually make a little something to go with DDs & Grdau's gift certificates. No longer do much shopping.Right now,I'm making a Xmas fabric table runner for Grdau (just got her 1st apt) & also working on a table runner for both girls, but not with Xmas fabric.Once the blocks are made is where I usually come to a bored end. You say I have 77days....but who's counting? :D

I am about to start a quilt for my father. My mom passed away this July, and I thought he might enjoy a handmade quilt. I did get a couple of the quilts my mom had that my grandmother made; however, they need A LOT of work, and I am new to quilting. So, right now, they are sitting in a chest waiting to be fixed and loved some more

I am off this morning to buy the fabric to make 18 aprons. Then I will get restaurant gift certificates to put in the pockets of the adults' aprons along with a little ditty I hope to make up. I have a chance on the 23rd to use the large banquet tables at church, so want to get them all cut out then and ready to sew. I am still deciding between getting a few long pieces and making them all mostly the same, or getting individualized ones. If I use longer pieces my coupons go further.

The pattern is My Mom's Favorite Apron from Sew Simple Patterns.

So sorry that has happened to you. You should be able to draw workmans comp because of the injury and by law thay can not fire you. Get yourself a good lawyer. My hubby got injured 3 years ago and was out of work for a year. He got a settlement. Don't let your employer get by with this you have rights.

I have my FILs quilt completely done, I sandwiched my brothers last night, hoping to get it quilted this weekend.

I have an idea of what to do with my MILs. I will start it and see how far I get.

2 quilts are ready for binding, then off to make many, many handbags and a couple of laptop sleeves for the guys. Any other guy suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
