Love purple, but never have the right shade of it. A need is for real purple.

I am looking for purple fabric for a french braid I am wanting to make. I did find several beautiful fabrics at Fons and Porter. My LQS has tons of batiks in purple - I am thinking I need to use batiks.

I always say that if you want something to be PERFECT - throw some PURPLE at it!

Ain't that the truth!! I'm making an orange based quilt for my DGS and it's taken me forever to find enough orange cotton shirts, skirts, etc. for it. I even put out a call for unwanted orange remnants here on the board and a few kind souls actually had some. It's not a color that one finds a lot of.
I'm having the same problem, both purple and orange
