Oh you guys are so bad!! Lets say I really appreciate the electric machines and I do own several now (237M, 221, 301, 500, a couple of Kenmores) but I can not give up my treadles! I am just starting to appreciate the emachines more........ ;)

Nothing wrong with having both electric and people powered. I love electric, hand cranks and treadles.

You got it at a good price. I got mine on e-bay a few months ago and spent a little bit more . What did your come with? I love mine. It's black with gold like the featherweigths. Congratulations on your win!

Same here. I prefer the 301 over the FW. Nice basic machine. I have one in an cabinet and one in a make shift case. Here are both machines before they were fixed up.

I have a FW and I like the 301 much better. Both were given to me. I put the FW away to give to my granddaughter. My 301 looks pretty beat up but it sews great.
