My granddaughter loves to sew too. they don't have home ec any more so I guess it is up to grandma's to teach them the basics.

The pattern is a Butterick girls pattern (B4320) I bought several years ago to make a princess gown or two. This pattern has 5 different outfits in the same envelope. And the Dorothy costume is actually a white dress with the blue checkered pinafor over it. Not too tough to make...but I'd rather be quilting!

Your DGD is charming. She will make a sweet Dorothy for Halloween. And I see a future for her in fabric art. Talented young lady which I'm sure she got from you (smiles!)
