I have a weekly fat quarter giveaway on my blog. Otherwise, I keep even the tiniest of scraps. There are somethings that were special for a special quilt that will doubtfully fit in another quilt. Also some that came in packs that aren't to my taste. In my giveaway I try to find out generally what a person likes so that I can send them something they'll use. Occasionally I'll give away something that I don't think I'll ever use to a charity function. I wouldn't call this de-stashing. I just call it being practical and frugal with the small amount of storage space I have available.

When I determine that a piece of fabric I bought is too ugly and I haven't been able to figure out why I bought it, I put it in a bag to give away. Well the truck has come and gone and I still have about 3 of those bags in my garage.!!!

I haven't really gotten started with intensive quilting but I sure did sit at the computer half the day Sunday, buying material. I love the material but get overwhelmed with the selections available. I don't know if I could ever part with any of it. You never know

Never destash. I am in a financial bind right now and will be for some months. Am happily quilting along doing scrappy quilts with my stash. When finances improve, I can restock, but with free patterns and my stash, I am set to go for a loooooog time.

De-stash? Not me. I was trying to find a use for the neon green ripcord nylon I have had for about 10 years. I finally decided to make drawstring bags to send to soldiers to store stuff like bean bag toss games, frisbys, baseballs, etc. If it hangs around long enough, I can finally find a use for it.

I can't seen to get rid of anything. I tried cutting up fat quarters for scrap quilts and even end up having leftovers to use in other quilts. Never ending but fun
