That is a beautiful quilt. I hope she taught you how to make one that pretty. I have two quilts from the 30's and 40's that my aunt made when she was coming down with rhumitiz. She was from West Virginia. The first quilt is a double wedding ring and the second one is grandmothers flower garden. They are both very pretty. I have been using them because that was the reason she gave them to me was to use. But how do I divide two quilts among 11 grandchildren?

Treasure your quilt it is a masterpiece or one of a kind.

I love the quilt your mom made. You have the same problem with this quilt as I have with the one I made for my bed....Black cat hair! My cat is 9 years old, so I figure my quilt will still look good, by the time I get to use it. :thumbup: Your fur baby is so pretty also!
