I've had a couple of folks PM me about the ornaments I made for the swap. They are NOT hard to make or I couldn't have done them being so new. They do take some time if you've never done them like I hadn't and I didn't pay good enough attention and kept doing them wrong at first...LOL. Make sure that you get ribbon thick enough (1 inch would be good) to cover the middle where the two sides meet. I didn't do this and had to use a piece of green ribbon with strips of pearls on either side of the green ribbon. I attached a pic so you can see the sides. The video uses 3 inch balls but I could only find 4 inch so I used 4 inch squares of fabric as well. The lady who's video I am giving you has some BEAUTIFUL ones on her blog. Here is the video that explains it really well and the pic with the sides:

Gail I just watched the video, I like your version much better! I like the pearl accents and the way you did the ribbon!

Thanks for posting the video, I have some of those balls, I'm going to give it a try :D

How did you add the ribbon at the top?

Actually that is one area that I would LOVE some help. I am not a good bow maker  I just tied 4 regular bows like you tie your shoes using thin red and green ribbon together and then hot glued them all around the center where the hanger came out....hard to explain but if you looked at the top you could see it. Bottom line...from the top it really doesn't look that great. I'd love to know how to do one of those really fluffy bows where you can't really see the knot in the middle. That would look best I think.
