Kathleen, I sent along a note that Margaret sent me...for her "anything goes" is what she told me on her center. I increased the size of it...14 inches was really small to work with...I feel sure she will not give any direction, but then she may after I did what I did to her center...LOL. Kay

Gosh Margaret, I am so sorry to hear this news re your husband. Being a fellow cancer sufferer myself and having just completed 6 months of intensive radiation and chemotherapy I can’t agree more with Kay as to how important a support framework will be to you both.
Prayers and thoughts are with you both
Kathleen

OK ladies - I need help! I have made and discarded several borders now and I am left with these two. I feel like it is too simple but everything else I tried didn't work (for me anyway) So please give me your opinions - maybe could change the corners to stars?

I can't get the 2nd one to load-- same purple border w a yellow and purple checkered corner stones - I like the puple border - I think it makes the design pop and everything I add to it at this point seems to spoil it - suggestions? Anyone?

Jackie, have you heard the saying "less is more" Imho I would keep it plain this time around. As you have pointed out the centre design really "pops" or stands out as I would say.

I would like to see the centre design followed through in the borders at some point but not just yet. Stars to me would seem a bit out of place at the moment also.

Good luck
Kathleen

Jackie,
The purple border looks great as it is, since it is a busy center. I think sometimes we feel like we have to do a lot of fancy stuff when what is best is something calming that allows the center to stand out. The purple is a perfect frame and I am happy with it. I am sorry that you have worked so hard on several borders- do what looks best to you.
