The apples just pop out. Name the quilt something like "Apples in the attic" and no one will be the wiser. It really is a fun quilt.

Well, here goes. I hope you won't all hate me. Plus, I've yet to post my first quilt so who am I too talk! Yes, I do think it is slightly unattractive. Ugly is too strong of a word. If you must use ugly please be gentle and know that it is (in the word's of my son at four years old) just a little bit ugly not a lot of big ugly. So what! I am still sewing one right side and one wrong side together on a fairly regular basis. I keep writing more here because if I stop I have to go in my quilting room and face one of the many projects I have started. I promise to post my first quilt and I want the truth!!

Is there such a thing as an ugly quilt? Enjoy it and it will remind you of that trip every time you use it

The Quilt Police might
come after you but only
to take this BEAUTIFUL
quilt for themselves.

my quilt group went to the beach over Columbus day weekend and we always have a project, and this year it was the disappearing 9 patch. We made blocks, 2 each in opposing design, and then quarter cut them. thru all one design in a big basket and passed it around, then did it again with the other blocks, then we sewed them together just like yours. Real scrappy, I am putting Minkee on mine and it will be my snuggle quilt this winter. They say it is going to be cold and snowy in the Northwest this winter. so I will be ready!!! Jan
