Rhonda certainly is generous with her great tuts! Rhonda also produces great ebooks for a very reasonable price. I have bought a couple of these ebooks and I have to tell you that you can't go wrong with her directions. I love her ebooks!

Thank you everyone! I am just floored at all the interest in this tutorial. It has been amazing how many have liked it. I hope you all enjoy the process!!!

To me this is kind of basic stuff. If you made the blocks and laid them on the table you can turn the blocks and get the same looks just by rearranging the blocks.

You can do the same thing with half square triangle blocks or any other block.
In my Boston Blocks ebook I showed how to do this with the Bostons plus a lot more design ideas.

I love sharing this with everyone and helping quilters to see the possibilities. My "Blocks" are intricate looking but easy to make. And when you have small pieces already in the "Block" it allows for all sorts of intricate looking patterns!!

If you have EQ or some other quilt software just go into the part where you can draw your own block and recreate the Wings block in there. Then I set my quilt section for 4 or 6 blocks to a row and I put the wings block in each block and then I play with turning them and changing color. It is easy to do!!
