I live in Cushing - near Rockland -- at least this summer -- from now on I will be in ME for the summers and WA for the winters.
That's quite a long way to go for the different seasons. I moved here from OR and do like the Maine coast best.

Hello and welcome from Germany! Your row robin quilt looks beautiful. Nice idea to trade fabrics, never did this, but would like to give it a try.

my new husband originally came from Olympia, WA and all his siblings are there. Also my son is in Seattle so it will be a family affair. My family is scattered all over the east coast so it was better to go west. We had been spending several months in Florida until he sold his northern Maine home and we moved full time to the summer cottage on the coast. Thru RCTQ newsgroup I met some great west coast quilters over the years. And when quilting friends from "down under" come to the US they frequently come thru Seattle so I will get to visit with them.
