My husband is getting ready to purchase the conduit I need to install a dead bar on my frame; however, we're not sure of the best way to attach it. Has anyone done this? If so, how did you attach the conduit to the frame?

It keeps the quilt against the bed of the machine when on the frame, so that you don't have to keep raising/lowering the take-up bar.

Actually, my DH is trying to figure it out, too. I'll bug him to get the parts tomorrow and test it out -- we'll let you know.

He says he's thinking plastic plumbing stuff may work -- along with the conduit. That's as much as I know right now!

Once he gets the "kinks" worked out and the dead bar is on your machine, would you post a photo? I'd like to see it "in action" - sounds like a wonderful idea! Thanks!
