Nice job on all of it. I love your hexagon. I just made my first one but it just one solid piece in center. Mine doesn't lay flat on the outside edges though. Think I may have made the outer border a little too wide so going to trim it down some and see if it helps. Hope it turns out as nice as yours!!

I've only done the one TUTE-- with the three seams see it pays to stay on here

Not sure of the size of your hexagon, but it would make a nice tabel topper. If it is small, it would make a wonderful candle mat.

Thank you for the posting - I am new to quilting and have watched many of the tutorials. Never thought of doing just practice samples to learn the techniques and have been overwhelmed by some, now I am encouraged to try to stretch my skills (minimal and old).

Yes we do thank all the ones that take the time to do a tutorial for the rest of us. I have learned alot from them I save to my file so I refer back when having a problem. Gave me idea for using up the blocks I have on hand.
Also AMEN to Penny Penny Wings saying at bottom of message. So very true.
