It's pretty far from MS to OK.. but not too bad. He is my farthest away brother. I have 2 others.. one in Ft. Worth, TX and the other 1 hour south of me in MS.

I go by Barbara in person, but by Barb online. Not too many of us around.

hi,ladies my name is nellie i,m new at this ,i have a quilt pattern that i,m making for my grandson, the pattern calls for a tear away stableizer,but i was thinking that maybe i can use a fusiable web instead,what do you think, one reason is my quilt shop was out of them all they had was fusiables and i what to get started on this quilt, does anyone know what is the differance between a stableizer and a fuiable web,and please tell me what will happend if i use the fuiable instead please let me know thank you nellie :wink: :wink:

I would think the main difference would be that you remove the stabilizer and the fusible remains.

Are you using this for applique? If so, you can certainly use fusible... that is all I have ever used. If you don't want it to stiffen up the applique. just use it around the edges of the applique.

hello barb thank so much for your advice,and yes i,am using a applique pattern it,s called around town nothing but cars,trucks,that you use in town,i will use it only around edges for more control of fabric thank you barb c nellie :D :D
