sew Tinker is right on the money about WV people. My family that remains there work 2-3 or more jobs to make ends meet. They do not complain all the time about the things they do not have or even how bad they have been hit in the past few years.
I was recently back to Preston Co, WV and here is what amazed me: I have to travel over 30 miles to get to a quilt shop here near Atlanta, but in a bitty town named Reedsville there is a quilt shop. Proves that the WV people still believe in traditions like quilting.

I live in Nicholas Co., my daughter lives in Greenbrier Co.

Thank you everyone for the welcome, it makes me want to get into quilting instead of just looking, but it is hard to stay away from this site, am learning so much.

Sheila, does your daughter quilt? There are quite a few quilters in Greenbrier county.
