Paper Stars for Christmas trees
#21
Thanks for reminding me of Carol, I used to watch her all the time, she was a great host for the show, and they had the greatest guest on. I always got a kick out of Priscella Houser, she did the painting. And can't forget the good ol' sock monkeys.... I miss the show.

They are called German Stars. I saw the show on HGTV and was fascinated with it. I contacted the lady in Michigan who helped me via mail by sending step by step directions until I learned to make them. I made enough to cover our Christmas tree at Church and with white lights and the white German Stars, it was beautiful. It took me about a year to make enough for the tree and I made 3 different sizes to make it look better. I will warn you - it is addictive!

I made 3 different sizes by using different size strips of paper. You do have to have it cut at an office supply and use 17" length paper. I will warn you - it is addictive!
