Awww, aren't they just the cutest little workhorses?
Welcome to the FW club. If you've never sewn on one you are in for a treat and will now understand what all the fuss is about.
Have fun and congrats!

I just might .But what is special about them :?:[/quote]
The FW sews a beautiful stitch, easy to maintain, just clean all the lint out and oil where the manual says and it'll run forever. They weigh 11.1 pounds out of the case, a very
compact machine and sews as well as the larger old Singer machines. I forgot to mention its a nice quiet machine too.
I sewed a corduroy shirt jacket with my FW, I was amazed and pleasantly suprised. Here's the jacket(I was much larger back then). http://home-and-garden.webshots.com/...45965719rygnnj
I have pieced many quilts with my FW and when you have the FW card table that the machine fits into, you've got a
nice flat surface for your machine.

I wonder if you bought from the same Ebay seller I got mine. It even had a threaded boggin in it, was clean as a whistle, and ready to sew right out of the packing. I hope you also got a User's Manual...very helpful. Also, find the great online site for FW accessories.

I bought one a few years ago for a BD present for myself. Just love it! I've gotten extra attachments through Ebay and even a table I had to refinish. Enjoy! They are great.
