After reading with interest all of the comments I have decided to retrieve my FW from a packing box stored under my basement stairs. It belonged to my Mother and she made all of my clothes on it. Until reading about FW's on this site today I didn't realize how valuable they are or how much easier they would be to use instead of my Janome 4000SE. We use our Motorhome all winter, so I could travel with it. Thanks for all the suggestions.

My nephew knew that a featherweight was what I had him on the look out for but his friend gave him this one and his friend's wife asked him what are you gonna do with a sewing machine and he told them he was giving it too me. He told them that my health wasn't good and I was taking up sewing and he thought I needed it.
