Looks like a rough week, and could have been so much worse!! Glad it wasn't worse :), When it rains it pours.

Sympathy from me to you! Hopefully you are in for some good stuff now!

We bought a range recently, the new one (nothing fancy mind you!) was nearly $6500!! We about died of shock.

We ended up buying the floor model, nothing at all wrong with it, cost us $3400, which was still ridiculous, but we love it so hopefully it will last us forever and then some.

We are buying the hood used/damaged, the store takes them in on trade and sometimes they have a little ding or mark that doesn't even show.

Sorry these things happened. I understand your sadness on the loss of your tree. I hope all good things are in store for you now.

Things usually do happen in sets of 3. I don't know why, but they do. Sorry you've had so many things to deal with, especially this time of year. Thankfully no one was injured when the tree fell, and your house was not damaged.
That is a major blessing! Sad about the tree though, perhaps you can plant a new one in its place. Maybe you can at least use the wood for firewood too.

We had a neighbors tree fall on our roof once. Luckily, we only had to replace the shingles and nothing else. We were fortunate too.

There is something about the loss of a big tree that is almost like the loss of -- not a loved one, but someone reverred, an old spirit, one important to your spirit. Oh my, I'm waxing mystical! LOL. I hope your streak of trouble is at an end, and you have a wonderful Christmas free of big problems.

I'm so sorry for the run of bad luck and think that you are surely in for some calm, quiet times now. The loss of the tree would hurt me the most. But I am happy that it did not do any damage to a structure when it fell. Breathe deeply & relax while that Black Cloud moves its bad self on out to another area.
