What a great comment Lisa.. I didn't think about getting ebooks from the library.. I'm there every week and get lots of hard copy books, plus books on tape.. I'm going to check today and see if our library has ebooks. I would definately want a device to be compatible! I love the library, I wouldn't want to live where I didn't have a good library to use!

Hi there, I own the Kindle and LOVE it. I like how slim and easy to hold it is. I like the fact that you can change it for right and left hand, change it from portrait to landscape to read...I also like the fact that you can change type of font, size and spacing on the page...the books are super reasonable too! I'd recommend the Kindle.

There have been a number of other threads too, regarding these items, do a search to find even more info! :-D :-D
I have the Nook, and LOVE it....
I can get books from the library on it easily, which is why I chose it over the kindle.

It seems that, like anything else, an ebook will be more or less expensive at one or another site, from day to day... so price of new books isn't something that I worried about. If I MUST have a book NOW NOW NOW, I will pay what it costs....if I just want it, I can wait for the price to fall or for the library to get it!

You will love your ereader, whichever you end up with

I got a Nook for Christmas last year and LOVE it!!!

It has 3G and wifi. There are many free and cheap books available and you can now borrow books from an increasing number of public libraries. The price has come WAY down since last year!

I really love mine, did I mention that? :)
