Quilts
#81
I have made quilts for parents and in-laws, all 4 children, and 5 of the 6 grankids. Several for gifts, and now am making prayer quilts with a group of ladies at church. We want to make sure we are wrapping the sick ones in love, and what a better way than a quilt. And, like most of you have already said, it is a good excuse to keep making quilts!!

Six of one, half a dozen of another. Sometimes I make a quilt especially for someone -- do the special fabric shopping and everything. Sometimes I make a quilt just because I want to try the pattern. Then I put the top away. I may think of that particular top when I want to gift someone with a quilt. That is when I finish it and give it.

I have made quilts for most of my immediate relatives on both my hubby's side and mine. He has several nephews and neices that have never made an effort to contact us so they are at the very bottom of my list.
I do a lot of charity quilts. I'm now trying to finish quilting the tops I have in a box. It is hard not to start a new project as material seems to speak to me. START WORKING ON ME!!!
