When I'm not quilting...I garden, read, renovate, go antiquing, like to restore furniture and spend time with my animals.

Happy Holidays to All,

Well I love to sew have been working on doll clothes for my littlest granddaughter, starting to get back into sewing for me I've really missed, cross stitch and needlepoint and I love to read. Hands hurt to much to knit or crochet. My plan is to make myself all hand made orniment for my x-mas tree nextSorry to carry on. year, as some thing had happened and I moved back home with nothing so this will be my second year without a tree and it's killing me as it is my favorite time of year.
Sorry to carry on. I would love to try enamiling, as my Aunt was a wonderful enamil artist.

Been crocheting for about 45 years now. I'm a devoted "threadie". (meaning I crochet with thread, not yarn)

Wow.
Do you make dbl knit afghan patterns?
I used to see a few at Herrschnerrs but they were always part of a kit, and I don't buy kits.
I might be interested if you have any.
No, I've never had the patience for anything that big!

I haven't read all the posts so I'm not sure if you're answering someone else.

SORRY! I should have used quote reply, I do have quite a few patterns I would be happy to share either knitting or crochet if you are interested.

I've been sewing-quilting-crocheting-knitting for years but I've never made socks.
I've re-started 3 times already.
I changed to different size needles, then one sock at a time, then 2 socks at a time. I'm now back to one sock at a time and I'm working cuff to toe. Fun so far.

What are you doing?
I make art fabric dolls. This is my first love but I swich back n forth between dolls and quilts.

I like to do beading work on silk, and I love to make sugar flowers (on cakes) but only a few times a year. I only make them for famly but if it wasn't so expensive I would do it everyday. I also love making cookies. My brother is coming over on Wednesday and we shall spend the day making cookies for our family Christmas party at his house this year. We make them, put them in the freezer and they come out terrific each year.

I knit a lot, especially small items like hats, mittens, and socks.

Would love to learn how to spin my own yarn and weave my own fabrics, kitchen towels, and rugs.

Braided rugs and coiled fabric baskets are two other crafts I would like to try.

 I know what your are saying this could become additive! I love to knit, crochet, embroider, sew and learning to quilt. Wish I didn't like the computer and internet so much!
