I agree with the majority. Go ahead and give them to your co-workers. Explain how you selected the fabric, the time it took you to make them, how you enjoyed the thoughts of your co-workers while you spent your time working on them, how they would enjoy their coffee and seeing your coaster making the experience better for them knowing that you spent your time making them something..... See whos coaster is used more!!! LOL.

Wouldn't you love to have the money the manager spent on the mug mats-think of all the fabric you could buy. I'm sure they weren't cheap. Actually, it was a nice gesture on behalf of the manager, but we all know yours will be nicer.
