I really love what you've sewn on the border, looks great! I put together a couple small OBWs and have yet to put some cubes in, they look really good on your quilt, Nice work! :D

Bed? Not at my House,,,,,,,,,It would have to be Hung on the wall ,,,maybe above the bed. I have never seen this style of quilting,,,It is an art in all its own. Years ago I had a Friend that hung such Art Work in several Hotels and Restraunts. You might still Find her work. Look up Sue Cerola. ('70's). I moved far away and was foolish not to have stayed in touch with her. She also had a vision that confused others. Beautiful Work!
