Take echinacea and zinc supplements. Eat 3 or more oranges a day and drink at least 2 quarts of water daily. Will flush your system. Go outside for 15 min. every day for fresh air and vit.D(sunshine). Also, before bed, wash your feet and dry well. Slather Vicks vaporub on bottom and top of both feet, then pull on socks. Sweet quilting dreams!
Hope you're well soon.

Sounds like it's time for Alka Seltzer Cold Plus!!!! It works wonders for those symptoms. I mix it with half the water, then drink in one gulp, then I drink a whole glass of clear water to get rid of the taste!!!

Take care!

Oh I know those colds can be nasty and it sounds like you got all the symptoms of all the colds in one. It's nice to know though that you had the energy to work on all those projects. Something good came out of it. Hope you feel better.

Antibiotics really do help if you have complications from a cold! Splenda is so good to use.
Hope you feel better but Diabects must see a doctor for a persistant cold ect.

Dix, feel better soon! I hate being ill. Some herbal teas are good just plain, put vicks on your feet with warm socks. Sounds like you are still productive even with the ole nasty cold.

I received an email today, that sounds silly but when a coughing spell hits we'll try anything, right? The email advised smearing Vicks on the bottoms of your feet at night and then put on heavy socks...the coughing stops within minutes and you'll sleep very well!! This was advised even for children...better than cough syrup with all the chemicals . Hopefully some of you will try this...or have tried it, let us know if it works.

PS: hope all of you feel better soon!!

And don't forget to take Lysol 4 in 1 and wipe everything down in the house; door knobs, cabinet handles, bathroom and kitchen counters, fridge and freeder handles, stove knobs, anything you touch. I keep a spray bottle on my kitchen window and every day spray and clean with it. Lysol 4 in 1 is also a great degreaser too. Once you start using it, you won't want to be without it.

Sory to hear some of you are under the weather. My two granddaughters are feeling sick too. Off to the dr tomorrow.
