OMG! That is a beautiful quilt! I just love it. And thanks for sharing the instructions- It sounds a bit easier than one piece at a time, and it does have a certain cohesiveness since you used "only" 40 fabrics. The border really helps it have just a little form, which is nice.

What a pretty quilt! I love the scrappy looking quilts and your colors which appear to mostly pastels, turned out so pretty. Want my address??

This is MUCH easier than piece at a time, but you can't plan a color sequence - that's why I'm doing the 1.5 swaps! To be really neat, I'm also collecting aunt grace/repo fat 4'S of MANY different prints so a repeat of any one square will be less. I can't think of a different border except neutrals that would go with the the main quilt. Come January, the planning begins!!

It is a thing of beauty. I admire your ability to work with such small patches. Quilts will be used here this week. Tonight it will be -48. I live up on the hill side so I expect -30.

That's a beautiful quilt, but "Me Oh Me" I don't have much of a brain left, and that would get the rest of it. LOL.

Thanks for sharing and show us your other one when you finish.

Beautiful! But I can see why you're not eager to start another one real soon! What a lot of work!

Jane, wonderful quilt. How many pieces and how big are your squares?
