    fusible batting pellon 971

    fusible interfacing pellon 950

What are the numbers after the fusibles on the supplies' list? Are they measurements or Pellon-item-numbers?

    Thanks.

This tutorial was very clear and concise. Thank you for taking the time to post it! I love the ideal of the decorative stitch on the contrasting fabric.

Pellon has different weights of interfacing and fleece thats the numbers. Do I know their system of numbers, nope. I feel the stuff and buy it. And so far these two have worked for me. There are other brands out there I like pellon. Many say its to expensive, I get mine half off and joanns on sale. If you use a heavier wieght fabric you dont need either. Upholstery fabric is nice and firm. And when you add it up the cost is about the same once you add the interfacing.

Thank you for your tute. I love the tute and it is so clear and the pictures are great. Now I understand how things are done. I think that I will have a go some day.

Thank you so much for your wonderful tute. I'm using the tote as a container for my step-daughter's Christmas presents (I even managed a matching i-phone cover). I'm a returning quilter and this has given me so much confidence.

Happy Christmas from across the pond
