Honestly i love my Japanese 15 and that is my favorite machine hands down but I think the 201 would be the next in line.

Hello everyone I was told you all might be able to help me identify my new machine. I fouinf it on cregslist for $35.00 . Needless to say I jumped on it. It was picked up today and should be in my hands around the first week in Jan. I am very excitied. I just want to know something about it. I do know it was made in 1949 in New Jersery.

Ok I had just picked up a franklin treadle machine #289099 I know nothing about it and was wondering if they are of any value. I have to clean it up so will as soon as I do I will get pictures of it. But if anyone can find me some information on it I would appreciate it.

That is a 66-16 with the Back Tack feature, this is one of my favorite 66's made.

I've (re)joined users of vintage machines! 47 years ago I bought a fairly basic Singer which would probably still be running if not for a freak accident in 2002. Today I found its cousin - maybe a year newer - in a local thrift shop for $40.

It's Model # EX053579. Does anyone know its model name? (and a copy of the owner's manual would be nice, but -- as you know -- not essential).

I'm just about Over The Moon because of this great find!

I just checked the serial number support site and according to them your new machine is a Model 328K manufactured in Scotland, dating back to July 24, 1964 with 50,000 of them made.
Great looking machine too.

I hate to be such a pest with questions but I also have a domestic model 713 serial number 2372 and it has a J-C9 stamped in the bottom of this machine.It is a very heavy machine too. I know nothing about this machine except it sews beautifully and very quiet There are some features I don't understand and can't figure out how to put the needle in the center position. Can someone please help me on this one

Wow that is a nice machine!!! My 328K is a dull Grey and Silver with Gold dashboard. I was thinking of doing a repaint on it just because it is so drab. Something like Pink and Black or Two tone Pink like the 185K I did earlier.
