I'm envious! I have several quilts in the making but only completed a baby quilt this year! I love your color choices on all of the quilts!

For two of the quilts I had a friend of my sister quilt them. She does longarm out of her house and offered 1/2 price for the first quilt. Another quilter I used charged about $16 to $17 per square yard. (To calculate square yards: inch width__x inch length__divide by 1296=__square yards.)

At the end, longarm quilting has cost me approximately $80 - $100 per quilt. Maybe some day I will be able to do this myself or have the patience to hand quilt.

Tutty, the iris quilt had applique. The iris and the leaves were cut out and placed on the square and then top stitched. I did the top stitching by hand.

Very nice work! It does add a lot of value to have the quilts machine stitched and completed! Congratulations on 3 beautiful quilts!
