Gotten halfway through your quilt top and realized "This quilt absolutely does not fit the person I am making it for." ? I am making a quilt for my Mom and I don't like it for her at all. It is way to bright and cutesy. Oh well, back to the drawing board!

I have half the top done. It's just a simple triangles lap quilt but it looks more like a little girl's quilt. Thankfully I have a "niece-in-law" who would love it.

That sounds like a fantastic solutions.

Maybe remake with a different color scheme for your mother.

... or start from scratch with a whole new idea....

suffering that effect right now- didn't like the way a donation quilt was turning out. Set it aside, making a new one tonight. Need asap to take a pic of, and it's raffled off 11/4.

I work well under pressure. :)

    Barb

P.S. Will finish the other one, there's always a use for one.

No problem, I attacked my stash and my scrap box and came up with some great muted colors for a YBR. Got all the pieces cut and I am putting them together. This one will be much more "Mom."
