How wonderful he is! I bet he gets nearly the same enjoyment watching you play with it! Enjoy!

Have fun! Nothing like a new machine to make a quilter happy. There's a ton of info on here & on line about scrappy log cabins.String squares are also easy ,using any & all scraps.

Yes, thank you.. not that I have awhole lot of stash, but my next project is using my scraps and maybe making a log cabin which I have never done before. I just can't wait to go back to sewing room and have some fun with my machine. I will be off all day tomorrow so I plan on doing nothing but sewing.

thank you all for your very nice comments. :)

You have a Keeper for Sure, I have the SQ9000 and Love it, there are so many stitches and for the price you can't go wrong.
Merry Christmas

Yes, you do deserve it and Christmas is about giving. Don't worry I will be sticking to a strick budget coming January and February. I have enough fabric at home to do many projects and get ready for Christmas 2011. I started a file already for 2011 so I remember all of my ideas.

That was wonderful of DH. A new machine is truly a gift from the heart- HIS. Have fun and happy sewing in the year ahead.
