That is so lovely! I would love a quilt like that, as I'm a birdwatcher from way back. The color scheme is so pretty, too.

Yes, I do live in the Sault, and, like you, saw the fabric at Fabricland. I'm doing stack N whack projects and thought it would work well for that. But instead I bought several yards of a nice white tailed deer print that also had a mural and plan to use that instead. Good to know there are other Sooites on board.

thanks. i got to give it to her today. she brought it home and put it in the closet. i said MOM you are supposed to use it but nope....she said she doesn't want her dog to get hair all over it...

Maybe make/buy her a wall-hanging quilt rack or floor quilt rack....

That is so nice and bright! I am sure your mom will be thrilled. I also like the fact you included a piece of the baby blanket. That will definitely make mom choke up with tears of joy!
