I'm sure there will be a lot of people who appreciate a tute. Good patterns are hard to find!
I didn't close in the ends for the dowels or wooden spoon handles so that they can be easily removed to wash the carrier, and so far I have noticed that the "handles" don't slide because they are "natural" and sort of "stick" to the fabric. I was worried about that initially.. also my dowels are longer than the carrier sides by about 1"

Can't wait for your tut. I'd like to make some of those for friends and myself.

I have one bought at tag sale. love it. wish the velcro strips were longer for smaller sizes.

I cannot wait for the tutorial. that is exactly the type I've been wanting to make. I'm really VISUAL and the free patterns I've found don't help me understand. I can't wait. Please post once you've made it. I already have most of the materials needed, just need sewing instructions. Your pictures are wonderful!

I have made quite a few of these and slide a square of MDF or ply wood into the base between the layers for more stability.
