LOL! I was just doing that today with some of the toys in the stores. In a stuffed Beauty & The Beast toy, the manufacturers actually took black thread to sew in "cleavage"! Ridiculous. As I was muttering over how toys used to be made, the associates at the store were looking at me funny. :?

are not allowed to accumulate? And I do often wish this quilting craft had
been my life's work.

We do too!
It's quite the adventure, isn't it? Our state doesn't require home ec. until high school but each of my girls has their own Janome (used for them so if they mess the machines up, we're not out much) and they love it. But we've used graph paper to have the girls design geometric quilt designs for math class.
