I made my first quilt on one. It belonged to my grandmother. Wished I had it now but it went to another cousin... ohhhh welll. It still has a nice home. Yours is beautiful and hope you enjoy each other.

She is beautiful. I love, love her jewelry. I am 54 and learned to sew on a treadle but she wasn't a beauty like yours. Wish I had that machine. One of my cousin's got it as far as we can tell and she has disappeared.

She is very pretty machine. I like her name, Fran.
Enjoy treadling! I have three treadles that I enjoy piecing and quilting with. And Merry Christmas to you too!

Ohh, I'm jealous. I learned to sew on that machine. I have wanted one for so long also. Thanks for sharing your find.
Wish I had it, looks great.

Why don't you post pics in the 'vintage shop,' of your W/W so that we may see the jewel. We love pics of the old/new ladies, please.

She is crying out to be cleaned-up, oiled and worked. Think of all the fun you could be having and dreaming of all the things she has completed before you uncovered her. Unlease her!

Maybe some day I could try it out but I am not sure that I have enough coordination for the peddle thing. I am not even sure how to thread or control it. Add one more 'challenge' on the 'to-do' list.
Cheryl. take the plunge, it a new art-form to TREADLE. You can do it.
