We always tied quilts when I was growing up. With 6 kids my Mother didn't have time to actually quilt all the bedding we needed.

Quilts are beautiful ! I hand quilt, I haven't got the nerve to try machine quilting. Hand quilting is very relaxing.
I tie some a long time ago, I like that also.
Merry Christmas & Happy New Year !!

Your quilts are gorgeous. You have a real eye for color and the piecing is perfect.

I figure that by the time I learn how to machine quilt i will be ready to die.
I felt that way too but with practice I'm feeling more confident. My best yet is the quilt for my grandson that I finished yesterday. I'm beginning to think there's hope for me. Give it a try. Start small and be patient. It's never too late to learn something new.
