Update. I did the D9P. I love how it turned out. The little one loved it too. It promply became a place for a picnic.

Ok - so on the next quilt - use both. I did not read through to the end - it came out lovely!

I LOVE the D9P and the fabric you are using!! My younger sister has requested a quilt and I was looking for the perfect block to use and I think I found it. If you don't mind me asking....what are the measurements for the d9p? Where can I find this block pattern?

You can use any size block. I did a doll quilt with orginal(the straight 9 patch) single block size of 2.5 inches and the purple one in this thread I think was 4.5 in blocks.
