This quilt is gorgeous. Your picture is nudging me toward a log cabin with all my scraps. The way you have placed them is what I like about it. Great job!

I really do like the more intense colors, but like you said the colors are a bit off. I'm not sure if it's that one print that looks to be orange and coral pansies.

Love your floral log cabin squares. Never thought of using florals and yours just shows we are only limited to our imagination. Beautiful job.

Actually, I did!! Out of over 300 quilts that one won third place for Viewer's Choice. The Fall log cabin I made with the same pattern placed 11th. :-D :-D :-D

Each of these squares is made individually... well, I decide on several that will look good with a particular strip, but sometimes there are only 2-4 per new strip. And very few, if any, blocks are the same. Very time consuming, but fun. I don't have any deadlines, so no stress.

I'd LOVE to see someone else make one!!!

Very nice. Great idea to use up those florals.

Oh, I like it. Good idea for using the floral fabric in my stash.

FANTABULOUS!!!!!!!!!! I have refrained for years from making a log cabin only because it didn't "fit me". Gotta tell you......your idea of using florals "speak loud and clear" to me. Luv, Luv, Luv florals in anything!!! I have always luv'ed this pattern...but was never moved to make one.....BUT..... Looks like the time has finally come. Thank you SEW much for the inspiration... I need a great project to work on thru the long cold winter.
