A beautiful quilt, the piecing and the quilting. What a wonderful story thanks for sharing it. Am looking forward to find out who the "14 year" old girl is.

MARIA, u did a beautiful job....i cried when i saw it and for what u wrote......i know my blocks went to a good home and to a great person.....it did bring back memories.....beautiful memories of my mom and graama and the old treadle machine...i met u in this quilt chat maria and u and i bonded immediately...fot one thing , my mom.s name was MARIA also...and yes we chat everyday and also talk on the ph.. i remember also the kerosene lamp i used to sew by...now even w/a good sewing light , i have to squint ..lol...i so enjoy chatting w/u maria...i made those blocks with a 14 yr old healthy eyes........now i sew with late 70's eyes... thank u for being my friend maria and god bless u and your family.. forever your friend OLIVIA
