I bought some and used some out of my stash. Christmas fabric is one of my addictions - just can't have enough!!

I did both. Several friends and I spent our Black Friday at Marshall's Dry Goods in Batesville, AR. They had all their Christmas fabric at $1.99 except for licensed fabric, it was $2.99. I had a flat fold of fabric of Charlie Brown and the Peanuts gang. Was going to get a couple of yards and the measuring lady noticed some ink close to the selvedge was blurred and she reduced it to $1 a yard. I bought all 8 yards. I love Marshall's.

I don't buy Christmas material. For the short amount of time that it is out, I don't sew anything Christmasy. I have lace tablecloths (hand crocheted with red and green napkins that look very elegant. I use that. I also don't buy Thanksgiving, (turkey and stuff), or Hallowee'n stuff (I don't like Hallowe'en stuff anyhow). So I save my money for quilting and making things that I can use year round, that I can give as gifts year round. Edie

I was quite proud of myself. I bought many Christmas fabrics to make table runners and actually used them all. Still have pieces left of each. Also used some of my stash too.
